Formula Karting Center is the 1st karting track ever build in capital of Cyprus, Nicosia. The overall project of design and construction of the track and it is facilities are made from professional and experience persons in karting.
Looking
the track layout you will notice that is a track with many technical turns,
hairpins and chicanes. The track width is from 7 meters up to 10 meters in some
areas like the start/finish straight. There are totally 4 straights with length
from 90 meters up to 145 meters. Is a track that you can overtake your opponent
but from the other handed if you lose your concentration for a second you can
easily lose positions.
A full-computerized system for lap timing is installed in the track and it is available for group races. A part of this system will be used in future so the lap times during the races be available live updated through our website.
Our IT department study also and the possibility to install video cameras around the track so to be able the recording of the race and helping the organizer of the race in the control and management of the race event.
